My Dad - Harold Warner: Innovation and the Making of Great Leaders
58 year old lifelong entrepreneur. Born in Saskatchewan Canada and living primarily in Calgary Alberta, he was raised on a grain farm and cattle ranch. He is proud of his Western heritage.
A resident of Calgary, he is married to his wife, life and business partner Vicki. They have four grown children.
President Dynamic Shelters Inc and Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd of Newfoundland. The companies have developed portable shelters for emergency services and blast resistant shelters which can resist highly dangerous blast and ballistic threats.
President of MegaWorks Structures, building hybrid structures of air columns and external metal support towers for use in Canada’s oilsands.
During 25 years of ballooning, he was an International competitive ballooning champion. He once held nine world records in ballooning including the World Record for distance flown in a single hot air balloon flight which he held from 1984 to 1989, when it was broken by Sir Richard Branson of England.
Organized and managed, Kodak Balloon Festival, Calgary 88 flying one hundred and thirty eight hot air balloons in secure airspace during the Winter Olympics, an event that among other things, required exceptional management of security detail.
He is entirely passionate about his work and Dynamic Air Shelters manufacturing the air shelters in rural Newfoundland. Dynamic has recently won Newfoundland’s Community Business Development Banks Distinguished Business of the Year award.
Through a good portion of his life he participated in the equestrian sport of polocrosse as well as Three Day Eventing.
